ICP is open five days a week and provides internet access allowing you to keep in touch with family and friends.

AIRPORT PICKUP

As part of all ICP packages, an initial airport pickup and transfer is provided at no extra cost. It is important for you to designate whether or not you will be requiring a pickup at the time of lodgement of your application.

BANK ACCOUNT & TFN APPLICATION

Upon arrival in Australia you may want to work on a part time or full time basis, depending on the type of visa you have. Most Australian employers require you to have a bank account to which they can transfer your pay on a regular basis.* You must also have an Australian Tax File Number (TFN) as this allows your employer to deduct tax for you at the appropriate rate. Please visit www.ato.gov.au for more information in regards to a TFN.

As part of our support services for individuals arriving on a package, ICP offers comprehensive assistance in the setting up of a bank account as well as the application for a TFN.

* Upon arrival, student visa holders must apply for a work permit before they may work in Australia

WWOOF MEMBERSHIP

WWOOF or Willing Workers On Organic Farms is a program for anyone who is over 17 years, fit and enthusiastic.

Working in exchange for food and accommodation is the basis of all WWOOFing. Time spent working varies according to the degree of self-sufficiency expected, how busy the host is at the time of your visit and other factors - but it should average out at about a half day's work for a full day's keep. We suggest that 4 to 6 hours a day is fair exchange for a day’s full board and accommodation.
